Sedbergh lies on several long-distance footpaths (Dales Way, Dales High Way, Pennine Journey etc.), three long-distance cycle routes pass through the town, there are several golf courses within easy reach at just a short drive away and fishing permits can be obtained for angling enthusiasts.Sedbergh is 5 miles from junction 37 of the M6 motorway and only a 40 minute drive from Windermere in the heart of the English Lakes.

Daleslea is an ideal base for those wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales, Eden Valley and the Lake District.
